This 'The Maker of Masks' artwork is an extension of Tim's new bookwork 'Silent Quarter' and expands on themes and ideas from the book. Tim’s anachronistic style takes strong influence from philosophies such as animism, as well as literature: particularly Magical Realism as well as Classic and World Mythologies.
Tim is a contemporary artist living and working in Bristol, UK. Originally from Cheltenham, Tim graduated from Falmouth College of Art in 2004 with a first class BA (Hons) degree in Illustration. Since then he has been exhibiting his paintings and drawings in galleries, most notably in: London, Bristol and San Francisco. After two successful Kickstarter campaigns Tim has published two artist bookworks 'Anima Mundi' and 'Silent Quarter'. Tim's books feature in notable collections internationally such as: The British Library (London, UK), Joan Flasch Collection (Chicago, USA), University of Brighton (Brighton, UK) and Bibliothèque d'art et d'archéologie (Geneva, Switzerland).
