Description:
The dark vultures in this piece represent hate, while the gold bonds represent love. In this work Tim explores how these two opposites fight for the symbolic human core, the heart. While the vultures attack and eat in a destructive manner the gold bonds explode outwards to wrap and bind people together.
Tim graduated from Falmouth College of Arts in 2004 with a first class degree in Illustration. Notable group exhibitions include Grotesques and Anatomy with Antlers Gallery, ‘Out of Darkness’ Literary Festival at The Globe at Hay, Hay-on-Wye and ‘Mortal: Life, Death and Memento Mori’ Clifton, Bristol.
